…vaporous and suspended, the air sways light creating a space where nature and the senses converge

Project Description

Located on a large property, the Air Garden covers 3,000 m² distributed over two levels and an interior courtyard. Originally an old garden, it was completely transformed to align with the renovation of the interior of the house. The design structured the space into different areas of use, highlighting a paddle tennis court on the lower level, concealed by an ingenious system of mirrors that blends harmoniously into the landscape.

Over time, the garden has evolved, adapting to the changing needs of its owners. Each intervention has added a new nuance, making it a dynamic space in constant creation, like a canvas that continues to be painted. This project also marked the beginning of a new creative stage in which emotional connection and humanistic design defined its essence.

Design Concept and Philosophy

The name of the Air Garden reflects the ethereal essence of the space, where the matter of dreams and life itself finds its sustenance. This garden symbolizes the story of life, represented in stages that evoke, in a magical way, the moments of growth, evolution and learning. Each corner narrates the challenges overcome, the sweet moments and the experiences that enrich the path.

With a concept based on the dreamlike, the design breaks the dual vision of reality, blurring the boundaries between objects and their meanings. Through its elements, the garden invites us to reflect on the connection between the tangible and the intangible, representing a space where nature and emotions flow in perfect harmony.

Every corner of the Aire Garden is designed to offer balance, functionality and beauty, adapting to the needs of its inhabitants.

Hammock of Dreams

Structure suspended in a pine forest, with a circular bed of 200 cm in diameter, evoking tranquility and natural connection.

Inner Courtyard

Central water feature with giant leaf sculptures and burgundy walls, evoking human fragility in the face of nature.

Pergola

Multifunctional pergola acting as a solarium and stage, with a mirror as a backdrop and falling water, creating a magical effect.

Main Porch

Integrated space with vertical gardens, custom furniture, bar, kitchen, and a pool with a walk-in cover for a functional and aesthetic balance.

Creation Process History

The process of creating the Air Garden has been a sequential and evolutionary experience, always maintaining a coherent identity that adapts to new functionalities. Over time, the design has respected the essence of the space while adjusting to the changing needs of its users, achieving a balance between aesthetics and utility.

This evolution has been particularly significant thanks to the long-lasting relationship established with the property. The links created between the garden and the family have allowed each intervention to not only beautify the space, but to connect it deeply with its history and emotions. In this context, the garden transcends the merely functional, becoming an artistic environment that celebrates the union between nature, design and family life.
