Project Description

Located in a Mediterranean setting of holm oaks, the Ryad Garden was born from the dream of creating a sacred place that would unite the essence of the Nasrid and Christian cultures.

This project turned a country house into a dream space that combines family porches, a swimming pool, and a paddle tennis court with a design inspired by tales from the Arabian Nights. The work transformed the space into a magical landscape where architecture, history and nature converge.

Each corner evokes serenity and symbolism, offering visitors a unique experience that transcends time and connects with the soul.

The sounds of the garden
The garden is inhabited by sounds that evoke the Alhambra: gently flowing water and murmuring vegetation, creating a serene atmosphere.

Design Concept and Philosophy

The design of the Ryad Garden rises above time and cultures, connecting the Nasrid and Christian traditions in a sacred setting. Inspired by the coffered ceilings and latticework of the Alhambra, the garden combines cross shapes, water features and light beacons that capture the essence of sunsets. The work seeks to convey a universal love that transcends the tangible, integrating structures, landscapes and symbolic elements in a design that invites introspection.

The components of the Ryad Garden are designed to connect tradition and modernity, creating a functional space that celebrates the harmony between architecture, nature and spirituality.

Almenaras

Three 5-meter lighting elements that integrate with the sunset.

Creation Process History

The creative process started from a mental void, allowing the design to transcend external influences and connect with the essence of the place. Techniques inspired by the Alhambra and colors evoking the red hill of the Sabika were combined with the white stone to reflect the serenity of the marble.

This fusion of tradition and creativity turned the Mediterranean environment into a dreamlike space, where architecture and nature intertwine in harmony.
