Project Description

This project covers several terraces of a set of spacious and exclusive apartments in a residential neighborhood of Madrid. The terraces surround the homes with landscaped gardens that provide privacy and serenity in an urban environment. The brief was to re-naturalize these spaces, creating an elegant, artistic and low-maintenance design. Each terrace was transformed into a green refuge that mitigates noise and the urban footprint, offering an oasis where nature and modern architecture converge. The result is an environment that combines functionality and aesthetics, designed to enrich the experience of living in the city.

Design Concept and Philosophy

The concept is based on a “Smart City” that re-naturalizes urban spaces to reduce the carbon footprint and reconnect with nature. Each terrace uses metallic materials as a conductive element, combining industrial, artistic and functional treatments. This approach balances abundant vegetation with warm wood and stone paving, promoting well-being and serenity. The harmony between nature and design invites the senses to relax and enjoy the urban environment from a more human and sustainable perspective.

Historia del Proceso de Creación

The creative process focused on the use of metal as the core of the design language, varying between industrial, artistic and functional applications. From this base, flooring, lighting and lush vegetation were integrated to create intimacy and refined aesthetics. Each space was designed in sync with the interiors, using custom landscaping solutions that combine metal with wood and stone. This approach ensures a stylistic cohesion that unites the practical and the artistic in a luxurious urban setting.
